I can't believe what a "squidly" mistake!!

lol...So, we're (me and the Illegal Intentions boys) doing a benefit show that I've done for the past three years. I leave the house and it's raining. I gas up the truck and think......should I go ahead and put gas in the bike? No, I say. The events gonna be rained out anyways. I get to the event and sure enough...it's raining. One hour after we were supposed to get started, it stops raining. So, we jump on the bikes and start drying out the area were gonna be riding in. Then it starts sprinkling again. We decide to hurry up and do a show before it starts coming down hard. In all the confusion....guess who forgets to put gas in his bike? lol Yeah....stand stander...jump to frog....to run out of gas...to get thrown over the front! Go ahead and laugh, fellas. I deserve it. Bruised sternum....messed up shoulder...knot on hip....sprained pinky and all.lol

don't forget the gas!...PawPaw

Re: I can't believe what a "squidly" mistake!!

I feel for ya gramps, I've done the same thing a few times. Did it once without a helmet and got a nice bump on my head, pretty lucky! I used to never wear a helmet now I wont ride without it. I've also ran out of gas on the mx track, nothing like going up the lip of a 80ft tabletop and running out of gas 5 ft from the top.
