your putting a f.i. cage on, but at the same time your worried about handling. one or the other, stunt or *** knee drag make up your mind

Re: to fighter or not to fighter?

Streetfighter all the way! the wind is not a problem. it even has less turbulence thanks to no windscreeen. its not hard to hold on at any speed really and with out plastics my bike runs a cool 170 degrees around town. best part is, if i want to sell it, the value of the bike is still solid. all i have to do is put the plastics back on and change the tank and no body would ever know it was stunted. if you want a nice bike then get another bike for the street.

Do what ya like. I think we're at the point in this game where it doesn't really matter anymore and quite frankly nobody cares. Personally, I think streetfighter all the way. If you're into looking good in pictures, keep the plastics, it looks way better.

Re: to fighter or not to fighter?

I took the front end off of my bike, and it just seemed so much lighter and easier to learn on. Give it a shot, you can always put it back on.

Oh, and by the way, if you have an older Fi cage, you mine as well sell the front end to pay for all the welding your gonna need to do when your frame tabs and subframe break.

+1 old generation fi for the gixxer is not good if you are just learning, if you got some skills and not gonna pancake it alot then its fine, the tabs on the frame are already weak and the fi cage just raises the chances of breaking them off

Re: to fighter or not to fighter?

I already took the fairings off my f4i I just picked up a few days ago. I like it better for now definatly. I figured it would save my fairings for when I drop it and I can always put them back on later. I think it took me a total of like 25 minz to drop all plastics and I wasnt rushing so even if it took me an hour to put back together when I want big deal. If I was a mad ballar stunter id rock full fairings just for the bling effect. But for now I'm going streetfighter cuz Im a sucky n00b. And honestly I like how it looks even tho others may say its ugly.

Re: to fighter or not to fighter?
