poeple are stupid....
streetbikes weren't invented with clip-on's mounted on the forks.
they are only called dirtbike bars cause they are MAINLY used on dirtbikes, but there are plenty of STOCK STREETBIKES with handle bars like that.

check out that bike.... more importantly the handlebars.
that's glenn curtis, set the world speed record in 1907 at a lil over 135mph, with a V8 engine cradled in that frame.

check out the flat track RACE bike. notice how the bars are down low like modern clip-on's, but are accautly mounted on the top of the head tube

it's unfair to lable a streetbike a "dirtbike" simplely because of the controls on it.
