man if that bike doesnt have a vin number on the frame itself you can kiss the whole bike good by I would just start looking for a new one

DON't DO IT!!!!!! It's called (Tag attaching NOT assigned) criminal offense (Arrestable) and your bike is GONE!!!!

U are better off running w/no tag and thats only a ticket....!But I don't reccommend either!

They can use and acid compound to bring out the vin # and get it straight, Never ride a bike where the VIN is sanded off, powder coated over, or missing...Automatic Felony!!!

Yea, they are trying to do that tomorrow... He said that if they can't read the vin then i actually get the bike back they just make me take it to the dmv and have one assigned.. chances are that they will find one though, if that happens he said i won't be at fault cause i didn't know that the vin was gone when i bought it but i do lose the frame.. and pay out the *** in fines.

i dont see how you are not responsable for knowing there was no vin on the bike

good luck with all that.

they will call you to come p/u and arrest you on the spot

because i bought it a week ago and it has been powdercoated the whole time, there was no way for me to check unless i sended the paint off at the dude's house....

damn better hope the acid test don't reveal the old numbers, if its just filled off they will beable to get the old numbers, so if your paper work is good n matching u ain't got **** to worry about
