so does anybody run flipped vortex's with the fairings on an f4i? i flipped the stock ones and it limits the room for steering a lot. the stock clips are too short for decent handbrake placing.. anybody got any tips?

It took some work but I got mine to fit pretty nicely

Re: vortex clipons

I wanted to put db bars on my 929 but it's not easy because the top triple isn't flat so I just can't bolt the clamps on it. Now maybe someone can help me out in this aspect, would flipping and switching the stock clip-ons be of any benefit to me or no ?

Answer to your first question, yes suicidl looks like a douche bag and rides his street dirt bike around all they time with dual sport tires..

second question, i run the vortex clip ons upside down on mine with FF on F4i, they don't look super stock, but i think that they are pretty much sweet and they don't look super gay as DB bars and FF...............

Do it. I first did it 3 years ago when I saw a bunch of guys putting retarded looking dirtbike bars on sportbikes. I thought "THERE'S GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY", and there is. You'll never look back:YEAH

Lower your front and put the clip-ons on top of the tripples instead of under. Cut the fairing if needed, you'll eventualy brake it anyways.
