I've been learning to stunt on my DRZ SM for the past month or so and I'm really starting to get hooked. Rather than going on rides I would rather be in a lot practicing . I s u c k but I'm getting better. Anyway, I figure I will learn the basics on that and then buy a stunt piece next year, probably an F4 Easy. My TLR is already collecting dust in the garage while I'm on my stunting bender right now. My original plan was just to sock away extra money each month then buy a F4 come spring and have three bikes (actually 6 if you count my fiddy, my SDG and my XR 350). Last night I started thinking about whether I would ever ride the TLR if I had the DRZ and the F4i. Anyway, my question is, how many of you only have your stuntbike to ride and do you wish you had a regular minty ride laying around to ride every now and then, or are you just fine with having your stunt piece for everything?

 

riding everyday on the street is too risky.. i'll stick to a lot and use my f4i.. can i have your sm?

but soemtimes i wish i had a nice bike if i ever wanted to go for a "relaxign" ride or to take some beotches out.

i vote for keeping the TLR and gettuign a stunt piece.

 

I had my 05 636 for a while when I decided to get into stuntin. I learned highway stuff on it and always wanted to try slow stuff but the bike was way too pretty and I was still paying on it...so I bought an 01 F4i and have been fu(kin that bike up ever since. I plan to keep the 636 because as I am still learning to stunt, I break sh*t on my stunt bike all the time, so at least I have another bike to ride while I'm repairing or having the stunt bike repaired.

Eventually when I get good enough, I'll probably just sell the F4i and stunt out my clean 636.

I only have my piece...900rr, yeah its beat up but i love to stunt, street, parking lot whatever. I would love to have a minty piece too, but i know as soon as a i took it out it would be all over, I would have to pick up the front...and we all know what that leads to(isnt that how we all got here). So then i would have 2 stunt bikes..nope, I'll stick with my one...

 

I have 2 stuntbikes. I might get a streetbike soon.

yea i bought my bike brand new in 03...i got the 2003 gsxr600 allstar...i tried to do the whole streat and stunt bike in one, but the bike got to unsafe for the road....that bike is now sitting at my friends place with about 10 cracks in the frame and still a $7,000 loan on it....now i have a 2005 gsxr600 strait stunt....i am saveing up for another streat bike though...i love ****ing with cops

 

i got a drz400 sm too if your trying to get off idle get yourself a bigger sprocket or at least drop a few teeth up front, i can rock slow **** but its geared so high to be able to do 96mph that you will stall it going that slow and trust me when it mousetraps it will throw you over the bars.

 

I have 2 bikes right now...my stunt piece and my r1...its nice but i could really care less about the minty bike now i never ride it so that's why im actually trying to sell it...

I actually went up four in the back, haven't had much time to mess with it but I'm hoping it helps. Are you saying that the sprocket will cure it of stalling?

 

Is that what its called, mousetrap? I do it constantly on my 900 and it sucks but holly **** is it funny to watch on vid later..

 

Relaxign rides and or taking some beotches out is garbage.. Stunts only for street riding.
