which bar?

which bar would you say is a better bar to learn on...i know everyone says learn with your tail..anyways i have a FI bar and it doesn't scrape evenly, only the bottom corners scrape and when I leave it on the bar it just wants to fall over like somethings wrong with it,it's installed correctly, i was just thinking that maybe because the bar is small (compared to a 905) any suggestions?

Have you contacted FI about it? If there's something wrong with it, they'll take care of it for you, and if there's nothing wrong with it, they might be able to explain what's happening and why.

(contact info is on their site)

damn, Tim knows his stuff mechanically, and he's honest, so I'm guessing the issue is with the bike, not the bar. He won't screw you over. He has spent his own money bringing a bike back to TX to fix something that went wrong, and shipped it back after it was straight. The man cares about his company enough not to screw over his customers.

I hope you get it straightened out, either way.

i know tim wont try to screw anyone over,he looked at my bike and said it's not my bike...that it was the pad...he gave me a new one(it was smaller instead of the fat one i had on there) but it still scraped the same...maybe i need to trim it a inch?
