661 4x4 Knee Pads?

Who has used them? Are they any good? What else would you recommend that cover the shin and have a strap above the knee?

Icon has a nice set I have been using. Fit under the pants and all.

+1 I wear Icon too, but make sure they are pulled up. I flipped over the tank the other day and banged the top of my knee hard on the way because they slipped down.

Yeah, I usually have to pull them up every 30 min or so. I wonder if they would move if they were on top of material like socks or something

i had 661 and hated it.. I'd rather be able to move around quickly and unrestricted then wear them.. I'd spend way more time riding then i do crashing so id rather be free to move around when im riding then be restricted with a bunch of gear on.

I was concerned about that at first. I just got tired of hurting myself on stupid things, now if I take a digger I feel a lot better the next morning / day. I am not limping from a really hard knee / shin hit anymore which is nice.

The icons don't seem to get in my way, they are pretty streamlined to fit your leg / knee well.
