this is what you would need:
5 feet of 2" square stock
10 feet of 6" wide u channel
a welder
bolt and nut (to hold ramp up on the carrier to load bike)
directions:
cut the square stock down to 3 feet to go into the receiver on vehicle. cut the remaining 2 foot piece of square stock into 2 1 foot pieces to support the 3 foot piece. cut the u channel down to 6.5 feet. use the remaining 3.5 feet of u channel as a ramp to get your bike onto the carrier. drill a hole in the ramp and carrier for bolt and nut to hold it in place. spray paint any color you desire. then, be the envy of the guy who just spent $300.00+ for his! LOL this isn't exact directions but you get the point. you would also have to mount tie down holders on it too.
and it would cost under $50.00 if you can weld it yourself or you know someone who can.
i hope this helps.
Re: Motorcycle Trailer
Well well it's stuntbike so who cares about rocks and I have mud flaps.. No i'm not going 4wheeling.. And a regular trailer is hard if you don't have a house. I'll be in an apt most likely.. This would be easier than selling my SUV for a Truck.

Re: Motorcycle Trailer
ive got one for my dirt bike and its pretty sick, fits on the side of the garage perfectly. takes up proly 2'x6'. when its on the hitch it has some play, the bike kinda sways left to right, i guess thats a good thing? ive never thought of putting my streetbike on it though. harbor freight has a 8x4 folding trailer for less than $300 i think.
