Re: best way to dent tank f4i

I started standing on the tank and kicking with the heel of my foot down. Then used a rubber mallet to finish it up.

in kyle woods level x video number 2 he says to use a dead blow.
1 start buy taking yur gas cap off or yull **** it up
2 lightly start pounding in a circle around the gas cap
3keep working it out into a biger circle until its flat about 3-6 inches around the cap hole
4slowly work from there side to side front to bak to get the shape u want.
thats how ya get em to look nice and smooth with no ripples . thats how i did it and it looks like it came from the factory that way.

Re: best way to dent tank f4i

I haven't dented my tank yet, but I don't think I am gonna take the cap off in case it won't go back on...

I think using your girl friends face sounded like a good idea...I plan to use my ex-wifes...hopefully that will still work.

Re: best way to dent tank f4i

If you wanna get really technical...... Take bondo and smooth out the dents on the tank and sand it to make it look like the tank was never even touched with a hammer.... Gives you a perfect little bowl to sit in and looks good.........use plenty of grip tape!
