only if you by a fmf carbon fiber slip on exhaust...and you gotta buy an easypull clutch so u have enough rpms to do wheelies in 3rd gear..keep them stock sprocket though....and youll probabyl need a twelve bar too

 

don't forget a Hand brake

 

standing up def at about 65mph, it would be quite a challenge to pull it up sitting down in 3rd on any stock geared 600 but still possible. stand ups all day long no prob , clutch and a little bounce.

I've seen a guy wheelie a '95 kawi 250 so yeah you can wheelie your '05 600!!

 

Also why the hell would you need 3rd gear wheelies on a stock bike?????

3rd gear for highway speeds. so im a squid too cuz thats what i use when i ride stock geared bikes. and i use 4th gear on my geared bike on the highway.

Why 3rd though? You can do 2nd at hwy speed

 

i dont understand why some of the guys on here have such a condescending attitude towards ppl asking questions. yes the questions have been asked a million times, but if ur sick of the questions dont read and respond to the posts. i bought my first bike 3 years ago(an r6) and i actually had to ask my brother if it would even do a wheelie cuz i didnt know. 3 years later ive come a long long way and its real shitty that some guys will **** on guys just asking a simple quesion. so much hate directed towards new riders is really not needed. why dont u go to kindergarten classes and call them all idiots cuz they cant do calculus yet.

 

in 2nd gear on a 600 youd have to slow down to about 55mph to pull it up without banging off the rev limiter, which isnt real safe in places where the speed limit is 65 to 70 mph. 3rd gear is much easier to control and comes up perfectly at 65mph. and ur not screaming ur rpms to keep it up.

 

That's how this site has been forever man..Sucks but seems it's just tough love. I was just curious as to why use 3rd when you have 2nd. I never used 3rd but I never really hit the hwys anyhow cause I've been geared since forever started with +5rear

 

nah theres tough love and then theres just taking cheap shots at guys cuz it makes them feel better to **** on someone.

.ive ridden a few 954s and 2nd was better for highway speeds it seemed but any 600 ive ridden was always 3rd for highway.

 

Yeah there's a couple of guys that are just like that. **** people talked **** about me when I was learning cause I'd post shitty vids of me learning..Just motivated me to get better.
