rear hand brake setups?
Re: rear hand brake setups?
you DEF need a hand break. dont listen to what these guys say. if your running low tire pressure your foot brake bearings are going to get real hot and you need to have a hand brake to counterbalance yourself. that being said. i have a handbreak set up for sale, last one i got, and ill let it to go for 500 dollars just cuz i know you really need it.
Re: rear hand brake setups?
15 psi is ok to learn on.. but as soon as you start tunrin circles you will need 20 -25 min.. even up to like 30... If you learn on 15 then have to go back up to 25 then all your other game will be all wobbly and ****.. Sooooo stick with 20-25 and you will be glad you did later on down the road..
Re: rear hand brake setups?
25 lbs on the rear is a nice happy medium cause when you start learning circles and have to bring that presure up from lets say 15 lbs it screws up your regular wheelies cuz your not use to the presure and the wobbles r crazy

honestly if you cant do coasters and no handers yet then u realy dont need a hand brake . learn the basics first then after when you are workin on over the shiels stuff you should get a hand brake . as to tire pressure i personally run 24 - 26 for all around riding . if you learn on lower pressure its easyer , but when you step the pressure up you will be hating life . my advice is learn on mid 20's pressure wise and you will be better off down the road .
