i understand what u mean but again i think its all part of fun am not saying parting lots **** and shith they are just not as cool as streets no matter what happenes i think streets is were we should show our skill

 

Ok, so let me preface this by saying that I am just getting into this. ive been riding for about 2 years and just want to learn more. I'm a bit confused though on this topic. It seems like a whole bunch of the guys and girls on here spend way too much time trying to "advance" the sport. dont get me wrong, i think its a grand goal. but what will be lost in the process?

let's look back on skateboarding a few years back. before tony hawk video games and all that. it was great. you could go to a skatepark and have the time of your life or just feel as though you were a part of a sport that still had some form of dignity. then came the video games and the mainstream spotlight. now, you cant go to the park after school lets out because it gets overrun by 13 year old who have no clue how to skate down a driveway let alone in a park. you also have kids running around with flip shirts on that dont even skate or kids that somehow think that a heartagram is the "bam" symbol.

my point being: sure, it would be awesome if they had stunting on espn all the time and you saw darius on the kellogs box and they had " joe brown's pro stunter" video games, but only for the pro's. for everyone else who still enjoys it for the simple pleasure playing around on a bike, it would ****.

just my opinion. trying to understand it.

 

it's not the latest circle comobo or greatest combo coaster thats going to make you money

it's the ***** and determination to go above and beyond what is considered safe...

so you can do a highchair circle at 10mph, does anyone really care... but when someone sees you flying down the highway sitting on your tank at 100mph they show a little more interest

people like fast and danger not slow and technical

 

trying to say you're helping stunt riding advance by keeping it off the streets or not putting it in vids is gay, and most of you are only AFRAID of it and making excuses

 

thats the point

if this sport did not have a risk in loseing ur life or money or whatever it would not be cool at all

 

dont even call it a sport, who gives a ****, i ride to ride and have fun and be fast and danger and im good at it

yeah i dont like florida but that doesn't change the fact that your video looks boring as hell, i'd say the same thing if it was servin' it up or any other video..

and i dont like poeple telling me that i can't ride on street so you can get free stuff
