So how did you learn it?
So how did you learn it?
Im not asking for pointers, just curious how some people learned there BP/Wheelies.
Some people say they learned it in 2nd out on the roadways because of the lower BP, and some say they learned it in 1st going slow for the engine braking and such.
Just curious how everyone learned.

i used to ride bp on the street years ago no brake. Got into waaaaay too much trouble with the MAN. Learned how to PROPERLY do it a year and a half ago in the parking lots trying to be a good boy in first gear.
Re: So how did you learn it?
learned 2nd gear standups in 1 hour thanks to a man named jim. and it took me a few months to master bp though, chased it for quite a while, but made those chaser pow pows look good though.
after that was all set and done it only took me 2 days to master rear brake control and turtle slow whoolies.
no i can do some scrapes here and there, and rock a no hander for a few seconds, until i lose balance and almost rat trap.
come a long way but still got a long way to go, and being on these damn deployments doesnt help much either.
i think it really boils down to determination and stubborness. ive seen people who are dedicated and want it so badly they got really freakin good in only 6 months.

if you even remotely practiced on that 110 and got any concept of brake control it should be burned in your brain and as soon as you go past bp you will tap the brake..
believe me, i couldn't do a slow wheelie to save my life but learned brake control on a 50 and a couple times i accidentally went way far back on my f4i learning at 45mph and tapped the brake to bring it back
