quick stand up question.

Question quick stand up question.

hey i have a 1992 fzr600 dropped one in the front. wanting to do stand ups. what gear should i use, speed, method. any imput would be helpful.

For that bike, I would still use 2nd gear. Start around 40, bounce with legs while letting off the gas, then slam the gas and you should get some lift. Its all really technique, but you'll get used to it...
If your having a ton of trouble then I would try them in first, but I don't think you'll have a problem.

hey i have the same question for my '02 r6. I can get it up in 1st, and ride it to redline easily. i can clutch it up in 2nd, but it only seems to come up about a foot or maybe a little less. any suggestion.. ANYONE!!!

i want to start that stand up part next.

Its all about get that front end up. up up up!!
If you don't have your R6 geared down, i definately recommend it. Get the front sprocket at least 1 tooth down. It helps so much. I learned wheelies on my stock sprocket, and then i got the front down 1 and was sky high for my wheelies. Definately the finishing touch.

Just get that front end up!

im now 1 down and 6 up. Thats for later when you wanna slow down your wheelies. Hope it helps... let me know if you need any more pointers.
