ight heres the deal......im painting my plastics and i want a cage that will keep the bike from rolling on the tank and **** like that.....something that will keep the bike as far off the ground as possible and stop it from rolling on the tank like i said....i was looking at the FI cage but i was told that if you go into the corners the loop will hit the ground, is that true....? any info or what ever is cool, thanks.....!

 

I have a fi cage on my 954 for 3 years now and no problems, it will only scrape in corners if you are going in at racing speeds and are knee down. FI is the cage i'd recommend, i'm still going to get an f4i tho, i rode my buddies and my circles tightened in half in like 2 minutes, just a thought.

 

No ****....ive always liked the FI cage but wasnt always 100% sure with them cause before i started riding my brother and his friends bought the very first cages the ever made and had nothing but problems....they were always brake cases and everything else and im afraid that ill end up with the old style.....i know that ill end up with that cage....

 

FI is crap. Get a Powers or MXD

 

FI new style is the best your gonna find. F*ck them cages that make your bike look like a dune buggy roll cage with all their tubing all over the place lol

 

Buy an FI. Dump your bike more that 3 times and you'll unbolt the FI and throw it away while you order a new stator cover too. New style is still "2 mounting point" crap design.

 

Keep it tight. Alot of people neglect their cage maintenance. Or you could go to your nearest dune buggy fabricator and have him put a bunch of **** all over your bike. hahaha jk

sorry didnt know the thread isnt up to standards for replying, lol......it wasnt started to fight over, just to find out what cage will keep my bike from getting fu.cked up.....i think ill give the FI cage a try and if it sucks then fu.ck it ill buy a diffrent one.....

I just got a FI for my 954, took about 40 days to get here. Be prepared to wait at least a month for it tho, their backed up to hell and back or their just slow at shipping.

Get which ever one you want, they all work, there's a million cage threads out there with a gazillion reasons for which cage to buy. It comes down to what you want.

cage .
