Embrace the learning period. There is no shame in taking a long time to learn something. It took me an entire summer to learn how to 12. Like 8 months. Ashamed? Nope, but I'll bet I've thrown up more 12's learning than most people have their whole "career." There is no replacement for seat time when learning a trick. Trust me, you learn more from doing things wrong than you do from learning them right. If you skip the learning phase, you'll most likely only be able to perform when everything is perfect.
sometimes the journey is more important that the destination!!

I've found that a ttr-125 is an excellent training tool. I'm 6'2", 230, I've learned everything on that bike. Since it's quite a bit bigger than a 50, its easier to transfer the skills to the street. Plus, electric start is a lazy mans best friend.

LOL... ****... well in that case just use your big bike... nothing else will help cuz if you learn 0's on a little bike it's a whole new ballgame on a big one. I should know cuz I got em nailed on my fiddy and I'm gettin there on the big one

Re: What do you think??

are you talking about jeremys pit bike for 400 bucks.....hell that bike has lasted longer then 2 weeks for sure, that thing is bad ***, i was busting off high chairs from that thing, its got a man clutch and everything, i would just get that, thats what i used to learn smooth throttle control, even though they are small, they are still fun, plus when you go to a show, you have it to take you to the beer booth

"idles on lock" #1. idle is fvckin easy as sin, and #2 just cuz you can ride idle, doesn't mean you can do a circle now!... learn some fvckin no handers and coasters and ****, it'll give you more control and feel for the bike, that way you'll be able to control the bike more in a circle and not chuck it.. and it'll teach you the clutch
