I had a FI cage but it lost the battle on circles and the sliders starting bending into my frame Ive got a powers on it now but this weekend I got my foot trapped in the cage and it nuked my ankle pretty bad so I don't know if the powers was a good idea does anyone rock the icon field armor boots and if so are they to bulky for stunt riding?? just tryin to save my ankles next time.

Re: 600rr cages

i rock a FI on my dub r....barrel rolled 2 bikes with it on and only had a bent clipon.

the frame sliders will bend a bit, but you gotta maintain the cage same as the bike: keep it tight, and make sure you have some extra frame slider bolts.

i recommend

Re: 600rr cages

my Fi has held up good....

+1 on what teach said. most people have problems becuase they bend the bolts holding the cage on and then keep riding iwth it. thats what causes the problems. throw some new bolts in if you bend em and it'll work great

Re: 600rr cages

sweet yeah I kinda did notice the bolts bending after a coulple hard hits then after that the sliders went downhill might be putting it back on its not as bulky as the powers and it never made love with my leg lol

Re: 600rr cages

I run a 905 but MXD is also good on the 600rr. It really comes down to what you want as just about everyone sells new cages for the same price be it MXD, 905, Fi, Powers.. We sell them all and 905 and MXD are by far the best sellers..

my 905 is trashed, not that impressed, the washers welded in to hold the bolts are pulling out now, and only had a few lights drops, one slide on the highway, and one hard drop from 12!

The BadPhish ones would be nice to see up close, but when you go to look at the pictures of em, theres nothing but some white guy on a zx-12

Bullo......hook us up with some close ups of that cage!

Re: 600rr cages

We tried the spring loaded sliders already and what happens under impact, A HARD sliding impact is the slider ( spring loaded ) snaped off. Think about.
Cool idea but does not hold up, you'll see.
