Re: whats ur tire pressure's

Added question to this thread ....... What is too low in the rear ?

Is there a pressure that is too Low in the rear ??/ Like with Dirtbikes ....if you run too low ....8 or 9 lbs.....you can **** up a rim if you hit a rock or somethin'......... Can you run too low of pressure in the rear tire ...to the point where......Slamming Down a High 180 Stoppie or somethin' ....could Dent your rear rim ???? Thanks guys

Re: whats ur tire pressure's

I'm running about 12 PSI in my rear and stock pressure in the front. Ideally, once my learning curve has lost a bit of it's slope, I would like to be able to do whatever I can do with 12 PSI on 30 PSI

yes, too low and you'll roll your side-wall and cup your tire out fast. but don't think you could dent your rim but it;s possible.

Re: whats ur tire pressure's

if ur tire pressure is too low u can definately dent your rim. if its too low on the front youll dent it from comming down on circles hard and the rear will bend when dropping stoppies a little bit side ways especially when trying 180's. i started at 10 in the rear to learn idle and moved up to like 15 to learn circles and am up to 25 now and run stock(36) in the front.

42 psi?!

I rock 25/18 on the streets.. highways and all.. 140+mph, 90mph wheelies, twisties, endo's, everything..

edit: I think 42 is way to high, but what do I know.. I'd run 28-32psi if I were you (i'v never heard of anyone running over 34psi..)
Lower pressure I hear is supposed to help stabilize wheelies, the slower you go the lower you wanna go on the pressure, down to about 18psi..
