Re: Tank Tricks>

ok, my tank dent is fairly shallow and a normal dent not the fl special where frog is barely a step above seat stander...

the reason i do spreaders barely sitting on the tank is because otherwise i can't fully extend my legs.. i need the space to roll onto my tail bone...

i dunno this is how i do a hc i don't see anything wrong with it

Re: Tank Tricks>

If you dont have front fairings, it looks cooler (imo) with the dent further back. If the dent isnt far enough back, you can see over the front easily which takes away from the coolness.
If you do have front fairings, it doesnt matter where your dent is cuz it looks cool no matter what.

Re: Tank Tricks>

ive had tanks dented both ways. further back is just plain more comfy. but a forward dent makes it easier for tank O's (spreader, HC, Spec K) cause you have more weight on top of the bike.

but either way, there is only an inch difference between my flat tank and my teacupped tank, so quit your *****in and go practice lol

Re: Tank Tricks>

just dent it in all the way around the ***** so then u can get a feel for both worlds.. law of conservation of physics pretty much states that inertia is gonna wanna scoot ur *** farther back when u clutch it up..

btw who cares.. u can do more tricks if ur NOT hugging ur tripples more comfortably..

Post up pics of the tank first then show how you pull your legs through. Without having the deep dent you've gotta be muthafawkin stretch armstrong to get your legs through.
