when you say stunt stay, from what you described, i think you mean cages to protect the bike in a fall... ficages.com is the place to go

for a fairing stay (also called a stunt stay, see where the confision came from) either get ahold of racing905.com or search around on here cause there are a few people who make them but i forget who.

Re: stunt stays whats the deal?

i've gotten stunt stays for my 636 and 600rr through racing905 and they make a world of difference as far as the durability of your entire upper.

a def must have for the true sportbike stunnas with full fairings!

Re: stunt stays whats the deal?

Make your own if you have the ability to

I bought the 905 for $250 and its garbage, sure its better then the stock plastic one on the 636 but for $250 its a rip off...

I built mine for about $70 Canadian in aluminum and welding costs, and thats with a $20 tip for the welds cause I was so happy with his work. Ive crashed 3-4 times really hard and I just bend it back when it gets tweaked. Right now its at the welders getting fixed because I crashed into a parked SUV, I hit the SUV so hard my frame bent in so much my wheel was touching my motor. And the stay was just tweaked and split a weld or 2!

I also looped an endo and the only damage was a little tweaking and a broken upper fairing, didnt even break the OEM headlight mounts(anyone with a 636 knows those break off instantly). The bike rested upsidedown on the stay and 12 bar and nothing else touched the ground, damper, clipons everyhting was saved..

I would love to make these for people but Im just too busy with my family business, if anyone thinks they can make these Id be happy to send them templates and help them prototype it....People need them just as bad as I did and EVERYTHING Ive seen on the market is GARBAGE for the price their charging...

My custom 636 stay

My 5 point headlight mounting (this is what IMO makes mine work so well on the 636)

905 and all its problems
