Culture, history, learning to learn, the ability to obtain extra knowledge and demonstrate that. Carry on a historic language and help the future generations know and pass on that language.

Re: If you could have anyone teach you to stunt...
here are the reasons:
1. it is the base of english, french, spanish etc. if you learn latin, other languages come easier
2. it teaches kids to think logically and increases their ability for deductive reasoning
3. it significantly increases english vocabulary and will help students score better on verbal SAT sections
4. at my school, all 6th graders are required to take the class with me as part of the 'common experience' and community building.
5. what schwartz said. you'd be amazed at the correlations between rome and the U.S.
6. at the upper levels, the ability to read authentic works in their original language, leaving nothing lost in translation due to others' interpretations.
7. usually the students that take Latin are of the highest caliber and love learning for learning's sake.
8. because i teach it
hope this helps....i love my job!
ps. my vote is for woods, and thanks to all the supporters!

I could say Teach has taught me to ride dirt much better but then I would be lying because we all know it was his younger brother that taught teach everything.
Re: If you could have anyone teach you to stunt...
E-dub with Teamoutermost.com he will tell and show you set for set and he is always +. Look at Kane E-Dub helped him out sick and they ride the same skiny ( bag of bones ). The reason I say that is because he has really helped me out a lot.
