I was going to buy tools but I live in an apartment complex so its pointless.
I have a friend who works at champions yamaha anyway so its not too expensive.

Yeah but I'd have to do it in the middle of the road.
Hopefully this time next year I'll have a house.

Re: F4is almost ready

first of all, the idea that a long bar is going to familiarize you with scraping is wrong.. it's will force you to scrape in situations when you dont need to, and instead of being able to save the bike with rear brake, you may hit the bar crooked and be corkscrewed off, or freak out and bail.

12 bars are for bar tricks, and with it that long there's no way in hell it's stable enough to run for bar tricks.

I pull wheelies back way farther than that just slowing down in idle to go into a circle, and I never "accidentally" scraped my (rip) bar because it was so close to the subframe that i had to want to hit it, but in situations where i would need to use it like parking circles gone bad, and merk steps gone bad, it still protected the tail and subframe.

The only problem was I slipped off my tank in a spreader and the bar caught the ground while it was rolling over the clip ons and tweaked the **** out of the subframe, so now I don't run one at all.

+1

C Rock its actually safer to have a shorter bar. With it that long, its really unstable.
