Just buy a Messeral cage from http://allout-performance.com/ Same idea with yet it has larger main tubes so the derlin wont snap. Plus no special ed lower hoop that snags on everything and makes loading a ***** if you lost tire pressure. But if you must keep the FI cage, go for it.

have you seen the hoop design for the 600rr?

anyways, the rr sucks loading compaired to the f4i becuase the exhuast goes up the middle of the bike so its underneath it and it hits trying to load it.

but back to my point, the hoop on the rr comes down like normal then does all kinda of crazy bends to go aroudn the back of the exaust n ****.... kinda make me think it wouldnt be as strong

Unless I missed something in school you're correct, bends (unless we're talking triangle reinforcement or the like) do not lend to strength when we're talking about a lower hoop like the FI cage. Are you running the FI cage now?

I've been to the All Out site, I couldn't find anywhere to buy anything.
I have problems with the bottom of my loop hitting the ramp all the time, but that's mainly because the ramp I have is too short for the bike.

Re: thinking about modifying my cage

yeah nick i've looked into those cages, i gotta pay squirrel for the fi first of all, then i'm planning on getting that as soon as i get the money, but for now if I can't afford it i'll modify my fi, just to get me through, cuz i'm sick of bending bolts, snapping bolts, breaking clip ons...

I know all about being hard up for money when it comes to stunt parts, can't blame you for waiting. When it comes to the all out site its still in the works, try calling them, I'm sure they can help you. With all these backordered products we can only hope that stunting is growing fast as it seems to be.
