929 Front End on F4I

Damn this thing is hella heavier than the origional F4I front end. Let me know what yall think and if it bothers you or not. I havent ridden with it enough to really not like it but it definately feels a little weird. LOL.

Peace Justin

I like the 929 front end a lot better than the F4i, the F4i is hot garbage, only about 3 people in the world that can roll over 100 feet on the front end, its way to soft and rides like a cruiser with ape hangers............

You can set up the forks with a heavier oil and you can always tighten the suspension all the way! Thats what I think is best, it works really well for me.

Re: 929 Front End on F4I

I noticed the heavier feel when I first put on the 929 front end, mostly in a wheelie the front felt wierd. I dont even notice it anymore and didnt take long to get used to. For the f4i the 929 triple clamps are the best setup. The 1000rr triples pull the forks closer to the frame and you have to shave off the steering stops. The clip ons are closer to you, shortening the wheelbase makes the bike twitchier in stoppies.

Re: 929 Front End on F4I

i love my 954 front end. stoppies on it are alot nicer than the stock f4i. night and day difference, but it did take a lil bit to get used to.

Re: 929 Front End on F4I

My first one felt a little wierd. But i got another one on the new bike and it feels a lot better. Just make sure you dont tighten the bearings too much.Makes it feel really heavy so you will know if its right.

Re: 929 Front End on F4I

Well im fixin to ride it a little more tonight so im sure Ill be gettin used to it. LOL. Also I got the aftermarket Clipons that Stuntme.com sells. They are badazz and I got them setup on the top of the triple which I like a **** ton better. Im sure Ill get used to the heaviness pretty quick to, I just seen a whole bunch of threads on "Do you like the 929 front end" and so on, but I aint never seen something that kinda compared the two in a weight difference.

Peace Justin
