I personally have known Edub for a long time and I have seen him bunny hop on his tl 1000r,and gsxr 1000, to his defense he can clear easely a 4 foot wide island or a whole cross walk section on the street, he can go over any normal curb or parking block with no problem !!!! He's been doing it for as far back as 5 years ago, so belive it or not !!

Damn you guys have been riding for that long???? 5 years? I remember last year when we were in Cali Eric was barely learning how to slow down a whellie. At the same time that Dean RR crashed my F4i at Jims shop!

dude, I don't have to be able to slow down a wheelie to buny hop. I've been tearing up the freeways for 6 years. I only figured out what the rear brake was for about a year and a half ago. bunny hopping has nothing to do with slow wheelies.

 

so how do you do it? Timing of what?

 

Your suposed to power the front up and then cut the throttle and slam the rear brake. Lean and kinda skooch forward like on a bmx.
I don't like slamming the rear brake but I can only do like 4"

 

do you rebound the back of the bike by bouncing on the seat? if I lean forward and slam on the brake I assume im flying over the bars ..

 

Drew and Danny get about 1' every time. I get about 1"

now that was funny.
I don't use the rear brake. its all timing, you just have to mess with it. get the whole bmx theory out of you head. its not the same. bmx you pull up, a real bike is too heavy for that.
