Quick question for those with an F.I. cage (954)

I understand that the loop and struts are removable on the FI cages. My question is: When removing the loop/struts does the "slider" portion allow plenty of clearance for serious corner carving?

I know that they advertise this fact, I am just looking to see if anyone has any real world experience. Thanks -James

Yes it leaves plenty of clearance...take the loop & struts off in the garage/driveway and lean your bike over until the sliders hit and then you'll have an idea how far to go when your out on the twisties...

Think about it for a sec mate - I ride a 250 with no cage and it dont take a genius to figure out that you just goto do one of two things:

lay that focker down and have a look at how close they come to the ground

or

Just ride it and find out like every one else with that cage

I wasnt being smart just being logical

OK this is just a misunderstanding. Allow me to clear things up:
I do not have a FI cage. See where I am coming from now?
Cheers- James
