What's up with MXD Cages?

I bought a cage from them two weeks ago and still haven't received it yet. I've sent several emails to Jeff @ MXD and no response. Even tried calling him and couldn't even leave a message because his voicemail was full... What gives???

Has anyone else bought stuff from them? Is this company legit?

Yes, he's legit and still in business. I went to his shop 2 weeks ago to pick some stuff. Did you try emailing his address on the mxdcages.com website?

He may be busy right now. I've bought a cage from him without a problem, and I know many others on this site have as well.

Re: What's up with MXD Cages?

Yea, I've emailed him several times after I sent him money on the 22nd of March... and haven't received a response yet. He said he was going to ship it on the 23rd but I still don't have it. I wanted to make sure this guy was legit - I don't feel like getting screwed out of my money.

yeah thats Jeff lol. Hes legit, hes not out to jack your money. Its not that he ships them when he wants, just that the shipping comp takes forever, I think. Anyways, dont worry, you'll get your cage!

I just ordered another one last week

I ordered one awhile back and was a little worried because I hadn't heard from him for either for a few weeks. I got it though and love it, would definitely recommend it.....

Re: What's up with MXD Cages?

I was at his shop on saturday, theres a large amount of orders writen on a board on the wall, im sure he is on top of it but has many others as well. + each cage has to be sent out after they are made to be powdercoated, then sent back, then shipped. Patience

I guess you got the point that Jeff is legit. I ordered 2 track cages and got them in less than a week. I'm the record holder in swift shipping.

Re: What's up with MXD Cages?

Unfortunately there is a growing pains and personal issues that sometimes make it inconvenient, but thats life.

I have had alot of trouble getting ahold of him recently as well. This is due to Jeff purchasing a new house, moving, and waiting to get all the utilities (internet, etc.)hooked up. And once again his phone is damaged.

I am not trying to make excuses for him, as it is very frustrating for me as well, but I assure you that in the future MXD will be a name that you know well. He is trying to hire more help, but is very concerned about keeping the quailty top notch...

He has recently bought new machines including a CNC from which the stunt community will see exciting new products.

Just hang in there...its worth it!
