i have a question i have a cbr 600 f4 and i hate how the seat connects to the passenger seat i was wondering would f4i plastics fit on my f4??/:YEAH :YEAH

 

You have to change the subframe, undertail, seats, taillight, and tail plastic to make it work.

 

the uppers will bolt up no problem, the fairings are identical, and like he said, you would need to swap the complete subframe to get the tail to work. but the frames are identiacl too so theres no problem swaping subframes

 

i might just add this 2 my bike so i dont have 2 do all that work it covers the passenger seat

 

what seat do you use for that tail?

 

i have the one piece seat. the website says that it covers up the passenger seat

My guess would be ebay. Check out this link. It is going for $10 (as of now) and even has the inner plastics and S***. Just buy some tail plastics and a tail light and your set! Just make sure you dont get an 05 subframe because they have the same tail plastics as the f4.

PS. I would definatley do the conversion over that retarded looking cover. It is kind of like polishing a turd to me, It is still a turd underneath.

 

ok seriesly though did it on my bike...to do it properly...subrame and undertail...but i just bought the seats and plastics and did some taping for the seat and welded a plate for the back seat...used stock tail light bc had a 12bar hiding the light anyway so just zipped tied it so it would fall

 

it says your bike is f4 with f4i conversion? what do you mean by that. just the tail piece or what? post more pics.

Well yeah you are goin to need tail peice and seats..and yes i converted my F4 to an f4i...did whole engine swap and everything only thing i dint change was frame and front assembly on it..i dont have any pics now bc it is getting painted

1999 through 2003...99 % of the parts are interchangeable
