that's cause stockers are big pieces of crap, they usually break there after a hit or 2

 

the clamp on the Vortex clipons are pretty stout. solid billet with 10m allen lock bolts...

when I wadded myself up at stuntwars I did bend the solid tube.. didnt damage the clamp or fork...

and for your normal *** circle highside drop.. wheww.. they work like a dream

My stocks were above the triple, when i got the harris they mounted below, i thought this would be to low so i went with fi instead cause they mount above. anyone else intentionally stunt with low clipons?

 

Z, could I use those with full fairing? I know its already gonna be tight with a 954 front end....

hey f4ibry and Rowdy, and anyone with their clip-ons ontop of their 954 setup, I just got my FI clip-ons and want to put them ontop but worried about the fairings/cage bottoming out. has it happened to you? any worries?

 

Dude i wasnt asking, I was just pointing out the Kane said that they should be above the triple, when some bikes like the f4i come stock above it.

I dont consider anything cheating. I have a set if FI bars on my f4i that has a handbrake, a 60t and a cage and bar. haha.

BTW i dont like your setup personally because i dont like the downward angle of stock type clip-ons

 

Ive actually been noticing a lot of clip on on top of the tripple setups.. looks different.. seems like it would make leverage a lot easier, combos also.. as is every 180 endo I do i always smash my thumbs against the tank putting em on top would prolly solve that...

cheating?600s r cheater bikes,streetfighter is cheating,spockets,handbrake,clipons on top,dirtbike bars r just gay! and so on...no one cares anymore...I never ridden a 600 and said *** it riding should be fun and it was just getting boring on 1000,cuz if u *** up u hitting the ground.I got 600 2 month ago and already picked up like 20 new things.
I had vortex clipons on 1000,they bent from me just doing chainsaws.besides had to switch left to right cuz they sit lower than stock and handbrake wouldn't clear with plastics.
but I'm sure if someones knows about best set up for bikes is Darius,he tryed everything I'm sure.and it all comes down to $ and what kind set up u can afford.if u want vortex they cost 110$ others a little more, pvm 324. and pvm master is 420$.so if u have the cash to spend on best pimpest set up do it

 

one day with my FI clipons and I'm NEVER going to rock DB bars (not that I ever did), the clipons are too pimp to change.

 

did you putem on tha top? what year is your bike? I was lookin at my suspension travel and dont know if it would work on the top plate for an 03 gixxer 6....and where would I find this PVM stuff?

Ive rode two days now with mi fi's and love em, dont even remember what the stock felt tlike anymore! Mine are on top of the triple, the top of the clamp is about a quarter inch above the top of the forks, but works great.

 

it actually isnt that bad i have my stock clipons turned way out on my street f4i and there almost strait angle i think? and i cant decide which i like better, when i ride streets i like my street bike, when im in the lot i get real used to the high clipons....preference i guess.

yea unless ur a fat a$$ it shouldnt be that bad i have mine so the tripple is just low enough for the clipons to fit on top, the bottom tripple sits off the hump part of the forks bout qtr inch. it bottoms if u hit a speed bump n when my seals are blown but not during normal stunnin. o it drags my fairins when the middle splits from the zipties suckin *** and breakin
