yo you new to daytona????? i havent seen you out riding i dont think?

 

If someones a total newbie, but they're out there tryin real hard, then its a good idea to protect the bike. You know how it is when you get hungry for it, the bike takes alot of abuse sometimes.
But the posers who show up at the spot with a fully armored bike and dont even ride it... no good. Although, did you ever notice alot of newbies wont ride if there are alot of better riders there. That could have something to do with it.

 

I did this at the old front street lot when Dan Jackson, Greg Sunday, Josh and Andy Clem, .....when they would be there in packs I wouldn't ride until they were all off to the side or until they left, or I would come back and ride with friends later on that night.

I didn't want to be the squid who wrecked into Dan Jackson one week before a comp or somin. Plus its embarassing and intimidating to ride with people who have been doing it for a long time and you're literally trying to get a start. BUT I will say this, being around them and having them actually be cool to me and talk to me, and give advice was humbling for me, having a swolen head, thinkin I was gonna be out there killin it in the matter of a few weeks!!!!

 

I love riding with people that make me look like a noob, it makes me want to try harder, and gives me goals.. E-dub, Manny, Darius and Nick schooled me,, so i can take my *** back to Canada and realise how much farther i have to go..

 

i moved out here in january, im out riding basicly every night in daytona, i been out to orlando riding a few times.


I always stay on the sidelines for awhile no matter who is riding, to check ppls riding style to make sure theyre not ****ing idiots who will get me killed and if theyre real good im taking notes so i bet i look pretty squidly sometimes.

thats great IF its on a trip or limited basis....not everytime you ride.........since the front street lot got shut down most have been riding seperate, so me and my friends that live 45 minutes from jackson and all them have improved more riding with each other and occasionally going to watch them to make sure our heads don't smell too much

 

..ii think its a good thing....cause now every rich boy he goes and buys a brand new bike is gona have to buy a 300 dollar freestlye cage to keep from ruining there nice crunchy peice..despite the fact they stunt or not

Are you kidding,, if i could live on E-dubs couch and ride with him everyday id be a champ in no time..

 

skate shoes in malls and stuff was all fine with me but man when they came out with soap shoes hahaha i drew the line. kids would show up at our spots and run up to hand rails and like hand plant themselves up there with their soap shoes and do a "grind" and then run away hahaha most rediculous **** ive ever seen!! i just hate when things go too far and they always do.

nah fo real though, some people look at it like a body kit... personally i wouldnt do it, but if they buy it from me and i make some money from it, ill sell them 10....

also, if youre just learnin, wouldnt you want your bike protected as much as possible just in case you do crash??? before i started stuntin, i bought the cage, 12 bar, custom upper, chain and sprockets.... with the bar and cage on there before i could really knew how to wheelie, saved me a LOT of money in buyin replacement parts... we all gotta start somewhere...

paul i agree there is alot of posers out there. up here in buffalo is a very small area for "stunt" riders. there is a few here i think 10 if i count the guys that come out once and a while, 5 that are really practicing hard. but you better believe that i have 2 cages and 2 bars in stock right now for someone to buy up. am I helping the posers out there? you better believe it. why? because they spend the money. two days ago a kid wanted to buy a 54tooth sprocket, he had no intention of doing wheelies, he wanted to powder coat it red and call it a day.......all in the name of looks. Hell ya, if you got the cash i can make you look like a stunt rider, for an extra 100 bucks i'll go kick over your bike and scratch it up a bit. LONG LIVE POSERS
