I hear ya there. I rocked a wheelie in FL when I was down there for stuntwars and then I pull up to a redlight in Tampa and I turn around to make sure the car behind me aint rearendin me. and its some ***** pointing at me then her phone calling 911. I was about .3 miles away from my friends apartment so i put the stand down got off the bike laughed at her then when the light turned green rode off like it was nothin. Good times streets where its at.

 

20 bikes going down the highway ten in standups is priceless make sure u make it safe keep speeds around 80 to not hold up traffic and most are happy sept for the dumb old *itches in there caddilacs swervin at u

Hahaha...I hear ya. But honestly, never get to see the chicks flashin' the goods while I'm haulin' a$$ up on one. I'm too busy lookin' at the road, traffic, out for cops, etc. Yeh, a few expressions with chins dropping, and they dissappear so quick so far behiind me that even if I did have mirrors, I couldn't see them. I guess I'm not good enough to keep it under 80mph. I'm tryin though.

 

good thread...highways are fun as hell..i dont see how people learn in lots and stay in lots..i learned on the highways and streets then took it to the lots..but i never forget where i learned and still rock the highways and streets.all the whiney lot queens,cops and asshats who call the cops can **** a big fat ****.

 

why not do both,,my 636 has a 68 tooth rear sprocket and i do ss in lots all the time but whenever i want i get it on the highway @ 5th gear 12K clutch it up hold rpm and ride for miles.

I was out last night doing a stand up next the window of an articulated truck loving it..... when I get a little wobble on and my exhaust detatches itself.... dunno what happened but I thought I was going down @ 60mph, phew

damn that was loud on the way home!!!!!!

 

Similary incident happened to my bro. End cap of his pipe blew off and all the baffling blew out. Easy headache.

Got to work out of town past week, 118 miles each way. For the first time I was able to bring 'er up in 5th. What a fkn' rush, must have been around 100 at liftoff. Stock sprocket, 14 front. Powered it to BP but by then I was on the a$$ of some semi, had to bring it down. That was a trip, never got so close to someone so fast on one wheel. At 6am, that made my day.:YEAH
