what's up everyone ... just wanted to get some ideas from you guys. We are taking the bike shop that we have now and expanding! We're buying our own building and going to have a MUCH bigger place. Since we will be building the place from the ground up, we have the option to have anything we want pretty much. We already have some crazy ideas of things to do and have, and I wanted to get some input from you all as to what would be absolutely PIMP to have in a bike shop. ..... anything from what to sell, to what's on display, inside/outside, ect ect ect .. anything goes. Gimme the list! What would YOU want to have in an ALL IN ONE facility? Imagine that the sky is the limit. Go to town. Anything you can think of. what kinds of services to offer, the look of the place, displaying crazy things, ect ect .....

To those of you that already have shops -- what things work, and what things dont? What do you wish you had dont differently?? What machines, equipment, or 'things' do you wish you had?

To those of you who are riders/customers -- what experiences have you had that turned you away? what keeps you coming back? what would be absolutely AWSOME to see in a shop? If you had your own shop, what would you have there, and what would you do that other shops dont do?

 

Stripper poles is a must have in a bike shop.as a customer i would be there everyday.

hell ya sounds awesome. you should have a variety of bikes on display with a lot of the stuff your selling installed on em. TV's everywhere playin bad *** vids. Couches to chill on. It would also be cool if there was a designated spot right outside in your lot to try out/test/demonstrate the products ha. Anyways just a few ideas . Hope the shop is a big hit, i know i would be stoppin by a lot just to hang out if nothing else if it was in AZ. Good luck!

some stuntbling would add some pimp style to the shop....

 

customer service of course is #1 I hate going in to the local honda shop and have some ****head parts service guy talk to me like im 10 years old tyring to buy a lolipop. It would be cool to have a pimp steel door entrance with some kind of design plasma cut into the doors with glass on the inside. couches are a must, with all sorts of motorcycle related reading material.

has anybody successfully built a lot for people to stunt in legally without paying thousands for insurance?

 

i dont see why it would be impossible as long as anyone that rides signs waivers and gives a copy of their license

 

here in arizona a honda dealer ship opened up in this town/city called tucson and they have a riding course they offer and they built a huge lot and it was free to stunt in till the locals got mad @ the course instructors taking their sweet time n smoked out the entire lot while class was in session.

 

thats where the shop owner has to regulate

 

tucson kids don't give a shiet about shiet.

 

And at least 2 paid gogo dancers on the poles at all times... no fun in having empty poles!!
