triumph speed 4
anybody stunt on or seen the new speed 4? looks like it might be a good bike to throw around only 6500$ new Hmmmmm...................... interesting. just a thought.
Re: triumph speed 4
read an article on the 675 and that ***** look likes it'd be great for killin streets...good horsepower...torque numbers like a 750...smooth power band with good mid-range punch...small as hell. Thing sounds pretty nice. I wonder if Woods is gonna get one?
Re: triumph speed 4
I'd buy one just for the mere fact that they grabbed their ballz and supported our sport. For that alone I have more respect for the company. I'm sure it's somewhat behind the technology of the big 4, but it looks nasty and stuntriding only requires 30hp now, so I'm sure it would be sweet. I love the new speed triple. For a streetbike that you ride and 12 around, you can't get a better bike. The brakes on those bikes are as good/better than honda and the sound of a speed trip is unbelievable. I grabbed Woody's bike and old school sit down 12'd it for about an hour and I fell in love with it. I have more respect for that company now and I'd buy one for sure.
Re: triumph speed 4
sorry to bring the thread off topic but how come honda never realsed its own 750 or 700cc serie sportbike??
i mean most bikes do: kawi has zx7, yami has the rare R7, gix750, triumph i believe has a 700 right.
whatsup with honda??

Re: triumph speed 4
The 675 daytona is a triple, think of it as a 600 with more tractable power.
Suzuki still have the Gixxer 750 because it's part of thier heritage, the 750 has always been their flagship sportsbike. The original GSXR750 was where sportsbikes all really took a big leap forward. They were so good that stockers could compete at world level in superbike races.
The YZF750/R7, RC30/RC45 and ZXR750/ZX7R were around because of superbike rules.
Honda's 750 was just very exclusive, like the Yamaha R7 was, that's why you'll hardly ever see one on the road.

A-holes won't even wave at a stunt bike, just look at you and turn their nose up....better they would cy to see their bike on its side
