Re: Bikes and Trailer Stolen from LaQuinta - Stuntwars weekend
Trailer was padlocked, but it wasn't locked to the trailer. We had been parking it where it couldn't get jacked, but since it started raining on Saturday and we got back to the room early, we parked it in a different spot with the intentions of parking it elsewhere later.
I've posted this up on quite a few boards, so more than likely they're just going to keep riding the bike like it is or sell the parts to fellow stunters. Stunt parts to be on the lookout for...
* 12 bar that had a cross brace in the back, but was cut out; it's not perfectly straight, so it has a spacer on one side
* home-made crash cage that has a small part of the cross-bar ground down to clear the stock header
* 71-tooth anodized red sprocket (530 setup for 929/954)
* 954 forks -- they'll probably have to paint them because the right one was black and the left one was still silver
* Handbrake setup with an extra-long steel-braided line
* Streetfighter nose with a square headlight -- originally blue, but spray-painted flat black
* Stock header that was cut down and the end was re-welded
* ON/OFF engine kill switch has been bypassed to always be on (so that when you flip the switch off, the bike keeps running; prevents mouse-trapping from accidentally hitting the kill switch)
* Clutch perch has the switch ground off it for clearance for the handbrake

pretty soon we are going to need LOWJACK installed on our stuntbikes
thats not a bad idea if you think about it cause if you make money with your machine and you have alot of money invested in it i dont see why it would be a bad idea....

plus i bet they dont sell the stuff... you live in N.C. and they are probaly located in florida or somewhere near the coast . they are just going to keep the parts too themself. they just need stuff off of it. you know maybe an engine or misc. parts the bar and cage they probaly wont use since its not made by a cage maker. all the other stuff they can just part out little by little.

That would be funny as hell if you did that and someone actually stole the trailer with you in then they get home and open it up just to find you witha gun pointing at them haha.

Hey teva, clean out your inbox. What's your paypal address? I'm going to send you a little loot just for what you've done so far (at least enough to order a pizza or something). I have a question for you, though, was that F250 a newer style (1999-up) or was it older style (up to 1998)? Is there any chance you could find a picture of a similar truck and post it in that thread?
