Tips on buying a salvaged 636 PLEASE HELP

Im going to look at a salvaged 636 on sunday and I want to make sure that it really truly is only cosmetic damage. Weather permitting, I will be taking the bike for a ride through all six gears up and down the road a few times. Any and all suggestions of what to check and what to look for, whats good and bad, what should be straight how to check it etc etc PLEASE HELP ASAP

look real close at the neck of the frame for any creases or dings, from what ive seen on the 636 is that any front impact will tweak the frame. other than that i heard radiator mounts break easy

the neck of the frame right where the tripple tree mounts. anywhere in that area. usually they crease right between the neck of the frame and where the frame bulges out. here are some pics, two bikes same damage

usually you can notice if the forks are bent enough to affect the ride just by lookin at them, see where the impact was and make sure u look over that area good. Seen them crack at the neck like blackness said. take your time and look over it
