Hey guys i just wanted to know if this is true or not..people say an 04 and 05 gsxr 600 Balance point is reawlly high..its alot higher than other bikes...why is this??? and how much higher exactly??

 

every year, w/ every bike, some know it all says the BP is higher on such and such bike.

 

it could be higher, but that would only be if the weight is towards the front.... if you think about it, the farther forward the weight, the higher it would have to be to counterbalance the weight on the tail.

 

its DEFINTLY higher! ive noticed this, my last bike was a 02 gixxer 600 and now i have a 04 gixxer 600 and can definlty feel the diffrence in the bp's, you can also see it in videos i have of my old freeway standups compared to my new ones. theres defintly a diffrence, i dont kno why

 

just get a f4i gixxers are junk!!

haha man im a poor boy a gixxer was all i oculd find at the time and i couldnt wait no longer for a bike.

 

for people who dont spend much time on the front wheel at least...
If i had 4-5k id be all over a salvage 636

 

i mean in my picture thats liek right at bp and my tail is pretty close to the ground..i notice on f4is the front wheel is like a foot lower than mine or so and its perefectly balanced.. anything i can do to the bike to make the bp lower??i mean if i take off my front fairings and just put a light wudl that make it lower? and that wheelie is in staggard

 

true dat... the forks and brakes are way better.... i roll the same as my bud with an f4i and he practices way more than me on endos.

 

don't worry about it... the high wheelie looks way better, and if you're worried about scraping i doubt that will accidentally happen.

 

bp is where it is. all my old high speed pictures are high as hell. you just get used to it. you're definitely not going to scrape plastics unless you're looping.

 

yeah, you'd have to be looping or trying to scrape.

 

everyone finds out when they're learning that the tail is A LOT farther back than they think

 

we'll see just how well they hold up... ive noticed alot of people always looking for parts so who knows..... the F4i's are proven though, and a HONDA

 

i'm not gonna argue that the 636 is less durable than an f4i, but i prefer the 636.

 

my '02 1000 was waaaaaaay higher than my 929's bp....at least a foot or more higher
