the aunt of cody found a post about the ride on another site and wrote this. i thought i would show everyone.

I am so thankful that there are people in the world who are as thoughtful and carying as the people who have responded to Cody. He has gotten alot of mail and pictures and calls from people all over the world. I have tried to give everyone updates as they come along and then I ran across this web site as well. Cody is doing as well as can be expected. He will be having surgery again real soon to have the port put in for his chemo and hopefully he will not have to have the shunt for drainage put into his brain. The night that I wrote the letter was late at night and had not known that the doctors chose to go through the back of Cody's neck. The last I had heard was that they were going to go through the side of the neck which would effect his smile. By going through the back of the neck saving his smile has made us very thankful. As for the type of tumor. Cody has Pineoblastoma which is stage IV brain cancer. If anyone would like to read about. It is a very rare type of tumor I think they say less than 600 people a year are diagnosed with this rare type of cancer. What I have read is that it spreads quickly and has a fiber like texture making it difficult to remove and once it has spread to stage IV it can not be removed. I guess I am rambling on. Anyways thank you to everyone for being so helpful and carying during this hard time for our family. I think that this will give Cody the want to live and will give him the best memories of his life. Codys mom and dad are very special people. They are carying and have a big heart they are being as strong as they can be. With everyone doing so much for Cody I am putting some things together for them. Thank you so much again for helping Cody and ride safe becareful and we will keep all of you in our prayers. I sure hope with all the prayers and thoughts of Cody maybe God will send a miracle our way. All of you have an extra gaurdian angel watching over you! God bless all of you and there are so many people to thank I appologize if I miss someone!!

i sent our package off monday so they should have it by now and i hope it brings a couple smiles to the lil trooper, having children my self makes this even sadder i coulnt even imagine goin threw this just hearing about cases like this bring me to tears and angers me deeply that there's not much i or anyone can do to make him better,i pray for his stregth and for his parents to stay strong.miracles happen everyday maybe he's got one on his way
if someone can find out if they have insurance ,and if not find out if there's a trust fund to help out with medical bills i can help out finacialy as well and i'm sure there's more of us on here that can as well

Well, it's good to hear they're at least trying some treatments to save him. I thought it sounded like they were pretty much out of options. I know it's still grim, but anything is better than nothing when you're dealing with a child. Keep the news coming!!!! Thanks Big Guru!!!

the local news came out today for the ride and for cody here is the link

we had a good turn out around 30-40 bikes i think and about 7 trucks
the streetfighterz and some others did a nice stunt show for him in a lot and a lot of people gave him presents.

it was a good time and i took pictures ill post them up tomorrow
