From what I understand they eliminate the factory retard in the 1st 3 gears. I did it to my 98 750 and did notice less lugging below 4 grand but no real power increase.

tre

ok the tre mod(with 15k res)will make your bike think is in 6th gear all the time and advance the ignition curve accordingly. The 15k res should cost no more than 3c and to make it a plug in mod go to a car wreckers and you will find that most suz car signal plugs are the same as the ones you need to use and should cost no more than $2."BUT"hmm there is always a but* the mod will smooth out the power some. But if your bike is in a good state of tune it will make nill diff anyway.People do use it on the TLR/TLS as at 3500rpm when the 2nd injecter kicks in (and it is a real jerk its on or off :twelve )it will take out some of the stumble.I have done the mod to Gixxer1k,1100,750,600,TLS/TLR all with pipes and fillters and the only one with +power on the dyno was the 92 gixxa 1100 the TL's were some what better but not much.I had the TRE on my bike than took it off felt no diff. But hell dont let me stop you
hope this is of some help PM me if you need any more info

Thumbs up TRE

I have TRE on my 1000, it makes a 1000 think it is in 5th gear all of the time. 5th has no restrictions, it runs smoother in lower gears and it allows it to wind out on top end in 6th. Go to www.Ivansperformanceproducts.com for all the tech specs, just plugs right in, no big changes in power, but smoothes out lower gears alot.
