Ok basically im just setting up my new bike and i had some questions...

My normal setup basically is

Sprocket, Chain, Cage, Scrape Bar, Hand brake..

Now i just got an 05 gsxr 600 left over... Want to set it up... but doing the hand brake i rather not get rid of the signal and headlight switch and what not... are those clip ons worth doing and would the work better if i got longer ones to mount the handbrake and keep the switch setup??

sounds like you don't mind putting some loot into this project, so here is a list of everything i would buy for it:

Cage (take your pick, i like FI, but some like others)
Bar (same thing)
Gearing
GP Tech HB kit (their contact info is in my sig)
Front master off of another bike
FI Clipons (this will let you mount the HB on the INSIDE of the fork tube, allowing you to keep all controls)
Steering damper (i prefer Rod style, like Toby/Ohlins/Hyperpro, NOT rotary like GPR/Scotts)

then later i would add braided lines all around
maybe a stunt fairing stay

hit me up if you need any help setting anything up, i have a lot of gixxer experience even though im on 636's now

 

thanks for the reply.. ill definitely look into the FI clipon.... I have the FI cage now, altho he has a new design which im going to pick up the new hoop and side bars... Ill have to get a dampner also.. Altho endo's havent really been my thing right now.. just focusing on getting idle wheelies down... but it cant hurt to have :-D..If you pop on aol/aim hit me up sometime djreversal .. we can chat bout a few things maybe even order things threw you or your sources.

What front master were you running on the GSXR? I have 2 GSXR front master's will it work?

 

yeah a gsxr master will work.
