On circles you got the lean angle but you still have the front to back balance point. Being behind the balance point makes them corkscrew in, and being under the bp makes them spiral out.
i get what your saying thats what we came up w/ 2day vat practice, but when we figured out to drop the front down it would pull the bike out of the circle and go straight or try to highside

i managed to get the bike leaned in pretty far to day and was getn on the throttle alot harder but it was just slinging me around like a rag doll i was just along for the ride grant it it was fun and i learnd how to do the smaller circles alot faster than i was doing them w/ alot more lean angle. whats killn me is the initial dive into the circle w/ the front pitched down it just seems to straighten the bike out, do you have to really force the bike over and constantly be holding it over or do you eventually kinda fall in a groove where you can just lean over and in and haul ***? sorry i ramble

i agree with nick also... dip in while going faster...

wow thats some intense gearing bro.. I just lessened up my gearing a few teeth and plan on dropping a few more in the rear the next time I change my sprocket.

Im stock up front and 20 up in the rear (a 60 tooth)

you plan on doing that to both your bikes or just one of them? im not that geared up on my other bike but i just like the shiit out of that gearing i had a 11 74 set up on my yzf 600r (R.I.P.) @ stunt wars last year would have put an 11 on this bike if they would have had it in stock.

fast widebody slant wheelies are the devil. They are the reason i lost a chunk of my motor on the stator cover side

That's some sick gearing, I just went to a 54tooth from a 66, I'll tell you how bad I suck without gearing in fast SS after sundays session.

well its after sundays practice did you suck or what? i tried using what yall told me lastnight today and i guess i might be a little closer. i was able to roll into them a little faster but still kinda tight but after one or two i could feel it slightly getting wider and i was on the gas harder at this point is where the rear tire kept sliding out from under me causing me to low side. i need a new tire but i guess i maybee 1 step closer. thanks to all of you who posted up

If you let the front drop too far without enough lean angle and get all up into the gas it will do that everytime. I busted about 7,893 clutch levers figuring that out. Spend some time thinking about the physics of it and you'll be able to put it together better when you are on the bike. Getting on the gas stands the bike up and letting off the gas makes the bike fall to the inside.

**** lets just say I miss my gearing, stall was the word of the day and I washed out like a madman on anything other than boring normal circles. I'm going to give it a couple more days then ***** out and go back to the easy setup. Good to hear you were getting the feeling, you're only a day or two away from keeping them wide!

Re: Darius/Teach/and many others

seat standers with a shitty handbrake---you HAVE to lean the bike over.....which is why i have to apply HEAT to my shoulder tonight....gotta love the dismounts on a heavy lean angle circle.

I'm sporting the old man body tonight as well, do you hold onto the bars the whole way too? Best thing in the world is holding on till the last second, hyperflatspinofdeath.

may i ask y u say this? whats your reasoning for going w/ less gearing. is it to be more impressive or do you actually find dificulty w/ big gearing?

Re: Darius/Teach/and many others

brand new tires help alot too, the contour makes it alot easier, keep a steady throttle and overpower it with the brake.... makes it alot smoother and less likely to slide out.....also if your up for a tire change or have a spare rim lying around, try a 190, they pretty much make you go wide lol
