Took me a couple weeks to ride them for blocks consistenly. I learned balace point wheelies with no brake at all. The first month or so I had the fiddy I had stock bars and couldn't get the brake because my knees would hit the bars

 

Took me a couple days, probably riding 3-4 hours a day, the main thing to learn is brake control, first day i was able to hit bp and ride them a bit, but if i was in second or third i'd loop and eat **** sometimes. It took me another few days to get good with the brake, when learning brake you don't want to constantly ride it which you'll have a tendency to do at first, it's fine when you start but don't make it a habit. It's just all about how much you practice, if you only go out an hour a day it's going to take you a while, if you got out more you're obviously going to pick it up quicker, just have fun don't worry about trying to learn the quickest, it will come.

 

i think its important to learn how to shift your legs around to control the side to side balance...

 

In like Fifteen seconds, I was rockin that **** like a movie star! Circles took a little longer, but that **** is on lock now too.......

 

Couple of days. If you can, find some people to ride with, preferably better than you are or already know how to do what you want to learn. You'll progress much faster that way.

i agree with you but...before u can practice the side to side u have to learn the up and down and dragin my feet on grass gave me the feel of bp and confidence to put my feet on and progress without bustin my *** on the pavement u know

 

finding bp is easy...keeping it there takes a few weeks....days...w/e.....

 

Dude, pm me your number or something. I try to ride on the weekends at least, but may be able to fit in a few hrs in the evenings depending on when I get out of work. I live over in oldsmar, near mcmullen booth and curlew.

I have a few spots I ride at locally but I am still pretty new to it too. Finding and becoming comfortable with the bp for me was a little harder than brake control. It is much easier to loft a long second gear wheelie for me and simply ride it a hair past bp and use the brake to prevent flipping, however I can rock 1st and second gear wheelies without the touching the rear brake.

There are a couple of people around the area who ride. Post over on fiddylife.com and I am sure you will see a few more people from the area.

What about pocket bikes??? I can furreaken ride any thing ! but i gota damn pocket bike,and for some reason i can roll out a mutch looongger endo on the dam thing???The bp is so dam short it friggen filps out quik?? I dont get it,guess its just i need pracK?? I do not have a fitty though? But i never had a prob on anything else like this ?

yeah, i agree with pete on this one... who gives a **** about my opinion, i just said pocket bikes suck, i didn't say anything about you or your compensation issues or whatever.

 

you are one dumb ****er... it's a crf50 with a big cylinder and piston you dumb ***. it doesn't take anyone very long to master the 2.5 hp the stock fifty puts out. you just keep practicing on that pocket bike, i'm sure you'll be busting circles before you realize
