whats so bad about...
Re: whats so bad about...
power wheelies are risky, not even a true wheelie, you're using power to hold the bike up which i'm probably certain isn't that high up + you're not even hitting a balance point, which is very comfortable after learned or taught. if you are hitting a balance point now with a redlining power wheelie, just a matter of time before you go over. you don't want that anyway, brings lots of problems, can stretch the chain, injectors tweak, nevermind shortening the life expectancy of the motor, among other things

don't bother telling this kid that he's wrong. experience doesn't matter much to some people, even though they come asking for help. it's just a matter of time til it's another "oops I looped it" story because of doing it the 'wrong' way.

I used to swear by power wheelies. I could do them consistant and go forever on my 600. It was 1/2 that and 1/2 that I didn't want to learn/didn't think I could learn clutch wheelies. TRSUT ME once you learn the clutch wheelie properly there is no going back. I don't even think about it now, just rev and clutch it. Even on the highway or whatever, the power wheelie is obsolete and not an option and I'm on a 1000.

Re: whats so bad about...
the thing I hate is that she same newbs come here and ask DUMB *** QUESTIONS all the time...
"what gearing should I use on the R6...but only reply if you stunt an R6"
"which damper should I go with"
"what's the best tire pressure for 100 MPH power wheelies"
"636 or F4i"
all that stuff could be covered with a simple search.
