Before him I NEVER saw combo **** over 30mph.... this kid was doing it on the highway. I never saw a 20+ mile wheelies. I never saw so many NEW things out of any rider.
Teach has taken the torch in my opinion but I remember Teach getting sooooo frustrated just trying to keep up close to Chauncey's abilities.

PS. Seriously.... even if he hasn't been on a bike in 2 years..... give Chauncey 2 weeks, a bike, and a competition.... guarentee he places top 5.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing.... and it's too bad he isn't into this sport anymore. He's been through a lot and I think he got fed up with it. He realized (I think) it wasn't paying the bills or offering him a decent future.

Re: The Best Rider In The Usa?
yea, truthfully, no idea why none of us ride anymore... but have been something in the water.
Teach is the only one still holding it down. I want back soon though.

Re: The Best Rider In The Usa?
I don't think so.
But, I will admit the last time I actually concentrated on doing a new stunt, was when I started parking seat standers and spreaders with no hand brake and no gearing. And everyone just started doing circles. Damien scraped a high chair the last time I rode with him and he was the first person I ever saw pull it off.
Yes, I think it's been since the beginning of last year.

Re: The Best Rider In The Usa?
soon... I just spend a ton of money on my house and my commute is pathetic (4hrs a day). My company is moving in the Spring so hopefully that gives more time to ride. The silver bullet will be pulled out of retirement next year... promise. I'll prob hate riding the big 450lb beast and want a smaller bike too.
Brian
As for the boys up in Maine.... I gotta see WTF is happening north of the border.

Re: The Best Rider In The Usa?
there are many great riders , but the same ones that allways do well at competitions are the best because they pull these tricks off under pressure, all these new kids might be sick at the spot, but you put em in the spotlight against someone like woods, jackson, teach or darius along with a few others, and they'd choke under the pressure, its like any sport, you have guyz who do well in practice but when it comes to game time, the true stars are the ones that bring it when it needs to be brought
