Icon Boots.......Opinion needed.

Heres the deal, I F-ing spained my ankle again but this time so bad that now 3 months later I still can not run without pain and my ankle still is just slightly swollen.....

Anyway, I need a pair of boots that will hold my ankle together without twisting it. I was looking at the New Icon Field Armor Boots or the Icon Motorhead boots.....

The field armor boots look like they are rock solid and will not let your ankle twist. But, they look more bulky.

Does anyone own or have tried on either the Field armor boots or Motorhead boots????????? If so, What can you tell me about either one.......LOTS of Details Please as no one around here has them in stock to try on or check out.....

You can also get a pair of ankle brace/gaurds. You should be able to get them at any sporting good store, or get the generic ones at walmart or cvs or something. I know fox and alpinestars carry them for dirt. Skate shoes have wider ankles and you could get midtops to help support and fit the braces.

field armors are huge, but built for that reason. the motorheads i've had customers *****ing about them falling apart. i would opt for the field armor, or get an anke brace and some timbs. i'll hook you up wiht the icons if you want them.

I tryed the field armour boots on today and liked them ! I am thinking they might be hard to get a feel for the rear brake though, as I am still learning brake control!!! What do you think???
