Well I put my 60 rear 15 front and a nice new x-ring chain on my 97 f3!!! My little f3 will now wheelie at will in 2nd and 3rd no problem, but thats not why I got the big sprocket!!! I have been rocking the slow stuff (well trying to rock) with the stock gear and boy this sprocket is serious!!!I can clutch up 11 oclock from idle but am having a bit of stability issue(side to side)!!! I know practice practice practice!!!! I am def. working on my rear brake control ,but am a little leary looping with-out the 12 oclock bar(that along with cages are coming from SANTA well wifey on Christmas)!!!! So my first impression of the geared cbr is f------ AWESOME!!!! Just trying to represent to the P.A. folk!!! peace I sure wish there would be daylight past 5 ish!!!! :YEAH

good stuff, wobble is from chopping the throttle, gotta be smooth, and go from almost a dead stop, clutch it up hard, and mash the brake when it comes up.. keep the throttle steady, work it with brake, u'll get it, wear your gear!

i say learn to scrape with just a tail.. bars can hurt.. clutch it up, keep throttle steady, on the way up mash the brake, keep brake and throttle steady at bp.. roll the gas on a little and u'll gear the rpms die, u'll get a feeling for it

you'll definately be busting the tail if you're just learning....i clutch a lil too much, and hit my bar all the time (im still learning too w/ 61 rear) or not use enough brake and come on back and hit the bar, im sure glad i do have a 12 bar (well Jbeats bar) i had a flat 12 bar, but it caused me to wreck once, so i took it off, and put on a Jbeats bar

Man , I went out today for the 35 minutes of daylight i had and felt sh@tty all the way around!!!! I have been trying the clutch it up quick and catch the rear brake thing but I think I am hitting the brake to soon!!! I had a couple were I was on brake and gas and held it for a bit, then realized my legs were bent and form was really sh@tty!!! So I guess I have to get it all to work together and not look like such a squid!!! When you guys say clutch it up fast at almost a ded stop ,you mean snap that sucka up as quick as i can??? I have not looped yet maybe thats my problem ,gotta feel how far to go ??? Peace thanx for the info ,believe me I aint quitting till I get this somewhat down!!!! I aint quitting then either!!!

u don't need to crash to learn, i didn't.. try from like ten mph then, and clutch it up high, on it's way up hit brake, but keep the throttle on, with the brake on steady, u will NOT loop.. the second u let off the gas, u're already on the brake, u'll be fine, keep practicing

Kool thanx again for info, I got to work on my patience also!!!! I just wanna learn before I get to old!!!! 34 now, circles at 40 ,h/c at 45, no hander at 50!!! That pretty much takes my good years !!! LOL

get someone to video you and you'll see how much room you have, and see what you're doing wrong....ohh and don't forget to straighten out your left leg when you do staggered standups

no u shud turn ur idle to abotu 3500 and clutch from a dead stop and whn the bike wants to float back...after u let OFF the throtlle tap the brake lightly...the wat crtch was describin is how to slow it down from 50 with a stock 929..his way is going to be harder on a geared f3

So I went out today in the light sno for my 35 minutes of daylight practice!!! I figured I should take a step back and check myself!!!! My goal today was to just make sure to keep my left leg straight on the left rear peg!!! I only have roads by me and a 1/4 mile long new driveway, both have inclines!!!So I go in 2nd with staggered stance and realize ,it is harder to keep that left leg straight than i thought!!! So I am all over the place which means I cant concentrate on brake work ,wich leads to me constantly gaining speed(uphill too)!!!So I have somewhere to start , control bike, then brake control then ..........peace

I did lower pressure , not sure how much but I could push it in with my thumbs!!! I def. felt better than yesterday , I need to get more time in 1 day !!! Just as I start getting somewhere the damn sun goes down!!! Thanx for advice L/R
