Im Dwayne from Oklahoma ive been kinda out of the stunten world a couple of months . But I used to ride a 03 600 cbr and I was pretty good on it .I felt like a part of the bike but I sold it ..Well , I come across a wrecked 01 GSXR well it looked like crap but I needed a nw stunt bike so I get it together and put the seat and the tank on . Well so I stop at a motorcycle shop to get gloves ..just gloves....and the girl that worked there had saw me messen around on my bike. So she tells me I really should get a lid first then get gloves .So she stayed on me a while bout te helmet.So I went a head and bought the helmet and the gloves to make her happy.So I finally get to head home I just got my bike from the shop and ive never road it n the 2 months I had it has been getting worked on. So I get home unload and it started right up so Im riding it impressed I finally made a good deal.When my my friend comes so we take off riding he has a 954. So were on this smooth county road so i thought i could ride a good long wheelie here . So i dropped my bike n 1st gear to see what my tork was like so i get it up to bout 45 55 and pull up for a wheelie well I get it half way brought up when it strait just died on me I went head 1st over the handle bars into the pavement I remember looking at the front wheel as I was about to hit the pavment .After me and the bike finally stoped sliding I had road rash hard core And still do ! but it took me a min to figure if i was goin to die or get up . So I got up and walked off... I hav pictures but dont know if i can figure out how to post them.......Bottom line is if she didnt talk me into the helmet I dont think id be here !!! So the next day I bought her flowers and with a teddy bear and a lil motorcycle helmet for the bear..I hope she liked it !!

 

Yah always wear a lid.

 

your lucky man...always where ur lid it protects ur dome without my lid id i would be a gonner to so always wear it even if its not the coolest thing

 

I ended up on my face at like 45 and if i didnt have my lid on my face would have been gone. I dont care which state im in ill always wear a fullface helmet no matter what. plus theres a lot of sick helmets out there that look good. just a lidl short story. I was in PA and theres no helmet law but i had mine on so i wheelied past this guy on a harley on a double lane highway. when i set it down and stopped at the next traffic light he pulls up next to me and says "you know your a f**king moron right" so i go "yea im the moron and your the one without a helmet on". he just rode away slowly making a lot of noise on his lawn mower. haha

 

First gear power wheelies, gotta love em.

 

How about you lay off the guy. he's new and probably doesn't know how to.

Good that you were wearing a helmet, even though you didn't really get it for safety, but to appease the sales lady
