a ? 4 the noobs
ok now i mean no harm when i ask this but are all noobs as stupid as the 1 i met this weekend??? We were talking about different things and we started talking sbout wheelies. He has a 2005 gsxr 500....i said all you have to do is hit the back break to get it to come back down if you get scared and that dumba$$ says oh....i hit the front break i guess because its a 500 it will come back easier....my mouth just dropped i didnt know what to say.....someone that stupid shouldnt be riding a bike
Re: a ? 4 the noobs
What the F is a GSXR 500??? Just curious, and for the record, most newbies are futtin dumb!!!! You gotta try to help them to survive till they are not so dumb. Its a resposibility of the strong to help the weak when they can!
Re: a ? 4 the noobs
People gotta search the web man..... GS500F, NOT GSXR 500
Anyway, that guy knows his stuff. Hitting the front brake will increase drag and bring him back down. Its all scientific type stuff I can't even try to understand....
I should hook him up with my boy Karate-klutch and they will take over the world.....
:YEAH

Re: a ? 4 the noobs
ok, so some people out there are very mis-informed or just not smart.
although one point to mention....when i raced dirt (from age 8 till about 15 ) i learned that stopping the rotating freespinning wheel will have an effect on an airborn bike. i.e.....hitting the rear brake while in the air will tranfer the energy that the wheel is creating to teh swingarm and inturn bring the nose down. the same applies for throttle...if you're ina nose dive gunnning the gas in teh air will create an effective amount of "work" to where the front of the bike will tend to lift or the rear will duck, depending on your point of view
as for teh kid using the front brake ina wheelie...prolly just stupidity, but honestly try it, especially ina coaster...when the front wheel is spinning in a wheelie, grab the front brake with one finger and stop the front wheel....i can feel it's effect and you should be able to also.
