Re: freestyle ingenuity
ive had to re weld subframe tabs becasuse of the FI on the 954. go with MXD, powers or a 905 on a 954. on the 954, the subframe tabs are 1/2" think aluminum, very easy to snap off.
we just redesigned our 954s so they dont hit shins or anything like that too.

Fo sur,,,, I have a friend who just got his MXD cage for his gix 600 and it looks awesome,
best looking design I have seen so far, still hasn't been tested but i'm sure it will do fine..

-Awesome cage--make sure if you dump it a lot on one side, take the loop off and re-bend it out or else the loop tabs will hit the corner of your clutch cover, break off and leak oil....

Re: freestyle ingenuity
why would you buy a cage and not do any research before hand??.. i've seen way too many motors, tabs and frames break with fi cages.... although 99% were 900/929/954 hondas

Re: freestyle ingenuity
ive no problems with my fi cage ive had it about 4 months and went through some pretty hard testing lol. i broke the weld on another unnamed major cage so i changed up. very satisfied
Re: freestyle ingenuity
I like my FI cage but i did pull the threads out of my right side motor mount... that was a ***** too fix but that was also from hitting a curb at 20MPH on that side and other then the pulled threads the bike was perfectly fine....

Re: freestyle ingenuity
I had an FI on my 954 and changed over to 905 to see what all the hype was about... take a look at what happened.... https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/sho...light=929+cage
Back to FI and very happy once again.
