Re: helpfull 208 dunlop fact

I rode home on different flat tires. I was going around 15mph because the bike was super unstable, but i did it!!

I've also ridden home on two different tires with holes in them. Turns are dangerous but its better than getting a truck to pick you up...

Re: helpfull 208 dunlop fact

2 years ago I went to a strict tech school that would serouisly downgrade your professionalism if you were late. So, one day I ran over some metal **** in the diamond lane, took about 5 minutes to get my rear almost completely flat. Still rolled 80mph on the straights and i had so slow down completely on turns. 30 miles like that :YEAH scariest **** of my life , ended up getting to school 30 seconds before i was late.

it was a pirelli diablo

I think if you go fast enough, the centrifugal force will make the tire rideable. I had a flat in the rear, and the faster I went, the more stable it became. Did 110 for a few miles with no air left.

too damn fast for me... your crazy... but going straight was the easy part long as you wernt trying to turn it was an easy job... back wobbled a lil other than that it was simple.... i put a new tire on today.. pilot power thou.. the center on that tire is a lil harder so it dont wear as fast... an i dont have a car so i had to get me a tire that would last a wile

I calculated it once for my car tire (yes I am an engineering nerd) and I would have to be going approx 160mph to get the tire back to its original shape. You still wont have any stability around the corners however.

dunslops, I hate those things. They take forever to warm up, don't stick good when they're all warmed up, and cool off fast as hell
